Hi I’m Jonah.
I have Tourette's Syndrome, and I've experienced every part of this journey—both the challenges and the triumphs.
Now, I want to empower and inspire others facing similar struggles. The journey may not be easy, but I promise you, it will be worth it.
Together, we can make it great.
How I can help you
Skills Development
Every individual's experience with Tic Disorders is unique. I will listen to your challenges and create specialised skills practice tailored to your needs, helping you better manage your tics and cope with the stress of day-to-day life.
Safe Environment
My coaching is rooted in empathy and understanding. I try to create an incredibly safe, non-judgmental space where you can express both yourself and your tics freely. In fact, tics are welcomed and loved.
Proven Techniques
I utilise a variety of coaching and counselling techniques, including active listening, reflective listening, and mindfulness exercises. Different things work for different people, but we will work together to find what’s best for you.
Motivational Approach
I truly believe in the power of listening to other stories. I haven’t solved world peace or discovered how to shrink people, but I have been through my own journey and, I aim to inspire you through the challenges that I have faced and encourage you to dream big, set ambitious goals and believe in your ability to achieve them.
My Story
At 16, I was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). As a teenager, I longed to enjoy life, but I constantly felt anxious, exhausted, and sad. I often felt different and isolated.
Today, I've transformed my struggles into strengths. I'm committed to sharing my journey to help others affected by tic disorders.
I want to share everything I've learned about living your best life. My goal is to empower parents to support their children, help siblings understand and cope with what their loved ones are experiencing, and offer guidance to anyone facing similar challenges.
Tourette’s Syndrome does not define who I am, and it shouldn't define you either. Let's navigate this journey together and turn our struggles into strengths.

FAQs
How are you qualified to help?
Along side The Brain Space, I am a training psychotherapist (MSc) as well as a certified NLP coach. Yes… qualifications help however, I believe that most of what I have learned has come from my own Journey and I want to share that with you.
Can you give me a diagnosis?
No I can not. Unfortunately, I am not a doctor and can not give you an official diagnosis. However, I can point you in the right direction.
How many sessions will I need?
I like to start with one session where we get to know each other and find out how I can help you. Then, I will tell you how long I think we need together.
Will you stop my tics?
I wish I had the magic cure… genuinely… I’d be very rich. Sadly, I can’t make your tics go away but by listening to your needs and guiding you down the right path, I know I can make your life with the tics, easier.
